binary large object
A large block of data, such as an image, a sound file, or geometry, stored in a database. The database cannot read the BLOB's structure and only references it by its size and location.

BLOBBinary large object. The data type of a column in an RDBMS table which can store large image or textual data as attributes.
BNDThe file in a coverage or grid which contains the coverage extent.
