TWINSPAN produces a dendrogram showing relationships between plot groupings, such that groups positioned close to each other in the dendrogram are most similar. Only vegetation data were used in the TWINSPAN analysis performed here.
Hierarchical clustering creates a hierarchy of clusters which may be represented in a tree structure called a dendrogram.
