graphics page That area on the graphics display device reserved for map display, or simulating the plotter page area. Page units are typically in centimeters or inches instead of real-world coordinates such as meters or feet.
map limits
The rectangular area on the graphics page in which geographic features are displayed. All geographic data are drawn within the map limits, and none outside the map limits. Map titles and legends can be drawn outside the map limits.
