Cartridge Tape Drive
The system should include one (1) 4mm DAT tape subsystem for the Planning and Zoning Department. The tape should have a capacity of not less than 5 GB.

 


For magnetic tape drives, azimuth refers to the angle between the tape head(s) and the tape medium.

For simple low priority single use environments, you can create a periodic point-in-time backup on a local disk or tape drive and maintain a recent off-site copy of your data for business recovery.

Two of these are APEX computers with 16MB RAM and 540MB hard disk, 31/2" diskette drive, backup tape driver and CD ROM. The other two computers are Gateway 2000 Intel:Pentium with 16MB RAM, CD-ROM and 1.6GB hard disk and 24 bit colour display.
