Alloys
At the cheaper end of the market are the alloys. These materials are often of poorer quality and lack the durability of the steel heads, often marking and chipping easily.

Alloy
Any combination of metal used to produce a club head or shaft. Alloys may contain aluminum, steel, beryllium, nickel, copper, titanium, or any number of other metals in varying combinations.

Alloy or Matrix - Combinations of different metals. Watch out for too high rates of cheaper materials.

Hard steel alloy used in driver club heads and some irons.
Offset
Distance on a club from the front of the hosel to the front of the club head.

A newly created alloy called Tunite moves 77% of the head's mass to the perimeter, a shock-absorbing, ...

Forged: A club where the head is made from one piece of alloy/metal, compressed to increase the clubs density and minimize imperfections.

A club where the head is made from one piece of light alloy/metal. A forged club gives a golfer more feeling when striking the ball.
Four Ball
Where two pairs of golfers play in matchplay against each other.

TITANIUM - A titanium alloy with high strength-to-weight ratio, plus ability to
withstand fatigue which provides great consistency.

Maraging Steel: A steel alloy fabricated specifically for its hardness and used primarily in the club faces of fairway woods.

Maraging Steel: Extremely hard alloy commonly used in woods as face inserts.

These materials vary from stainless steel, titanium, alloys, carbon composite and special polymers. Multi-material combinations include tungsten and titanium, titanium and carbon composite, or stainless steel and carbon composite.

These materials range from from stainless steel, titanium, and carbon composite, to proprietary alloys (such as the Tuniteā"¢ used in Fusion Irons), special polymers, and multi-material combinations, including tungsten and titanium, ...

Investment casting - introduction of molten metal into ceramic shells.
Irons - Any one of a number of clubs with a head made of iron, steel or some other metal alloy and are generally used to hit at the green.
