BIARRITZ GREEN - A biarritz, or biarritz green, is a green that features a deep gully bisecting its middle. The gully, which is manicured the same as the rest of the green, usually runs from side-to-side, but sometimes runs from front to back.
Returning to the Biarritz Classic, it has certainly struck lucky this week with Scotland's Mhairi McKay, and three Solheim Swedes, Alfredsson, Sophie Gustafson and Maria Hjorth, all having returned from the US to take part.
