Bye
A short game played over the remaining holes when the main match finishes early because one player or team has won by a large margin.

 


BYE - the golf holes that have not been played because the match is won before the 18th hole.

Bye
A term used in tournaments. The player who draws a "bye" is allowed to advance to the next round without playing an opponent. In match play, it is the hole or holes still left to play if the match is won before the 18th hole.

Buzzard - A score of two strokes over par on a hole. Same as a Double Bogey

That is the forward/backward (like you are waving good-bye) or up and down. We'll refer to the forward/backward action as the breaking of the wrists and the up/down as the hinging (cocking)of the wrists.

During a practise round I went driver, five iron and from the white tees it was three wood, seven wood. Score well here because what ever you gain on this hole you'll be sure to kiss good-bye on the par 3 fourteenth.
