Feel vs. Reality-Can You Tell The Difference?
Unfortunately, sensation of muscle movement rarely bears any resemblance to reality. If you've ever seen your golf swing on video, you know it feels very different from the way it looks.

The key to being a good putter is to play it the way you feel. Playing the golf course more often will help you play more by feel.

"FEEL"
Wedges are precision scoring clubs, swing with maximum 70% of effort.
Keep arms free, very soft and relaxed. Keep your chest turned away from the target during the wedge swing and let arms flow through the shot.

Feel: Learning to play a shot without having to think about it. Feel is particularly important around the green. Feel is developed by a lot of practice and experimenting.

Feel
It is the core that determines the compression and the hardness or softness of the ball. The outer cover will determine the durability and spin.

Feel Natural
There is no one thing that gives me power. It is a combination of many difficult moves, and these moves must all become secondary and eventually feel natural.

Feel : The sensation of, or level sensitivity for, playing shots in golf. Especially with respect to short game shots including putting. Example: She had great feel/touch for soft pitches and bunker shots.

Feel is a big part of the game and it is easier to develop feel working on the short shots. The swing is softer and slower so you get more feed back. You hit more solid shots and you can carry this feel over into the long game.

Feel ... is one of the biggest differences between a highly skilled player and an average player. So, where does this feel come from and how can you get some? Now we ARE getting somewhere.

I feel that the shoulder turn is one of the most important fundamentals of anyone's golf swing.

- Feel the shot before you hit it. Rehearsing a shot exactly how you want to execute it is an important part of building confidence in your swing.

To feel the weight shift happening naturally, try swinging while standing on a downhill or uphill slope.

The Feel - Grips, lenght and feel: try out as many as you like.
Head materials - Doesn't really matter. The design, the distribution of the weight and the lenght of the lady golf putters are the most important parts to decide on.

Get a feel for the individual. If you caddie at a private club and encounter different players each day, observe your player for a hole or two rather than immediately overwhelming her with advice.

Step 3: Feel
In order to narrow your focus and promote reactive play, it is important to clearly feel the swing or stroke to which you have committed.

This, I feel, is a result of one of two things: 1) a lack of instruction, or 2) low levels of golf strength. A lack of instruction leads to the development and ingraining of improper swing mechanics.

To get a feel for this, DRILL, start from about two feet.
Putt three balls in a row at the tee.
Your putts should actually be firm enough that they carry over the hole and hit the tee squarely before dropping into the cup.

To get the feel of the hands releasing, try this drill: Hold the club at waist level and swing as though you were hitting a baseball. Feel as though you want to pull the ball into left field.

Some people feel tight and they are not capable of turning their shoulders back this far. If you feel tight when you turn back, it's not a bad thing. This tightness is a good thing because it tells you that you have created torque in your swing.

You may not feel comfortable with the lightest possible pressure. That's okay, but try it in practice to know what's available.

What do you feel? You sense, perhaps for the first time, that the left hand and arm is not propelled downward by the shoulders and body action. It swings freely down quite independently of the shoulders.

Based on the feel of the drill, make a backswing which puts you in the same position, in terms of the elbows and shoulders. Keep the shoulders as inactive as possible throughout the swing.

A great way to feel the lower body swinging the club is to hold your club off the ground at knee high and do some practice swings. If you hold the club in the air, you take the ball and any hitting sensation with your arms out of the picture.

You can obtain feel through mechanics, but you can't obtain mechanics through feel. This drill helps you develop what the motion should feel like.

Wait until you can feel the drag of the club at the shoulders before you attempt to use them. Your club head must be around in position before you can feel the strain at the shoulders, and then you can move them as fast as you like.

Do not worry if you feel that you do not understand every thing that I tell you, your not expected too!! and try not to compare yourself against others, every one learns at different paces and some may have more experience.

Visualization
A mental image of a swing or shot or even an entire round.

Many players prefer balata or balata-like covers because it provides a softer feel. And can provide increased spin. (Most of the players in the championship played with balata-covered balls).

Feel your shoulders and hips turn to the left. The swing path follows your shoulders and ends up going from the outside to the inside. At impact the shoulders should be square wiht the hips, open at approximately 30 degrees to the target.
