honor-- The right to tee off first on a particular golf hole. The golfer with the lowest score on the most recent hole gets the honor.

Honor: The player who hits first on a hole is said to have the "Honor". The honor is gained by having the lowest score on the most recently played hole.

Honors on the tee
The golfer with the lowest score on the previous hole has earned honors, and it's standard in the game of golf that they are the first to tee off on the next hole.

Hook
Faulty stoke when the ball curves to the left for right-handed players and right for left-handed players.

Honor - The honor on the tee goes to the last player to win a hole. The player with the honor tees off first.

Honor: The honor goes to last player to win a hole or take the least number of shots. The player with the honor tees off first.
Hooded Club: Turning the club face slightly inward in order to hook the ball or prevent a slice.

Honor: When you score lowest on a given hole, thus earning the right to tee up first on the next tee.
Hood: Tilting the toe end of the club toward the hole. Lessens the loft on a club, and generally produces a right-to-left shot.

Honor : The privilege of playing first from the tee. Usually the result of having the lowest score on the previous hole.

The honor (that is, the first shot) on a given tee goes to the player with the lowest score on the previous hole.
If that hole was tied, the player with the lowest score on the hole before that is said to be up and retains the honor.

Honor
The privilege of hitting first from the tee on a given hole. It goes to the player who won the preceding hole or the last hole that was won. On the first tee, it's usually decided by a coin toss.

Golf is an honorable game, with the overwhelming majority of players being honorable people who don't need referees.
Golfers don't have some of their players in jail every week.
Golfers don't kick dirt on, or throw bottles at other people.

One of the time-honored expressions is to keep your head down. To play golf well it is helpful if the head does not move vertically or laterally to any great degree until the ball has been struck.

Ah, yes, the time-honored tradition of yelling, "That's one!" whenever a playing partner, waggling away, accidentally knocks his ball off the tee ...
The short answer: No. It's not a stroke. There is no penalty.

the first player keeps the 3 points and picks the next hole; if the next player sinks, however, he "claim jumps" the first player by erasing his 3 points and is rewarded with 1 point for the trouble and selects the next putt (gains "the honor").

This is called the "honor."
After the tee-off, the player whose ball is farthest from the hole plays first.
You must play the ball as it lies. You may not move it to a better spot.
Don't ask for advice from anyone except your partner or your caddie.
