Inside the Stripe Drill
When hitting striped range balls, align the stripe down the target line. Concentrate on hitting the inside of the stripe as you swing through impact. This will encourage an inside to outside swingpath.

Inside: Being nearer the hole than the ball of your opponent.
Inside-Out: Swing path in which the player's club, on the downswing, crosses under its path on the backswing, ending up directed more to the right of target than desired.

Inside Approach
The Inside Approach golf practice aid was developed to give golfers a clear visual understanding of where the club needs to be swung as it approaches the most critical point of the swing... the impact zone.

Inside Out: Clubhead moves through the impact area on a line to the right of the target. Most tour players do this. (See also outside in.)
Inside: Area on your side of a line drawn from the ball to the target.

Inside-out: A swing that travels from inside the target line to outside the target line, resulting in a mishit.

Inside-to-In: A description of the swing path that, all things being equal, will produce the greatest percentage of solid, straight and on-target shots.

Inside
Your ball is inside when it's nearer the hole than the ball of your opponent. Also refers to a swing path that is closer to yourself than the true target line.

Inside
Descriptive of the ball closest from the hole, or of the golfer whose ball it is. The opposite of away.

The inside approach is another great golf training aid to help improve any golf swing. This particular device is extremely useful for slicers and helps deal with this problem fairly quickly.

Mountainside (number 12) is a beautiful par 5. Running out the tape at 577 yards you shouldn't be thinking of getting home in two here. From the tee you look at a small right to left dogleg fairway that is skinny and hard to hit.

Falling putt - Inside of 10 meters a putt where the player does not remain behind the lie until after the disc comes to rest.

This is sometimes known as an outside-to-inside swing. (Sam Snead came over the top slightly, which he felt produced more powerful shots). Compression A measure of the relative hardness of a golf ball ranging from 100 (hardest) to 80 (softest).

Flat Swing The type of swing that occurs when the club head is carried back in a flat manner - usually inside-out. Flex The amount of bend or the degree of stiffness of the club shaft.

To develope a move that will keep you in the swing plane and stop the inside move try this drill.
1. At address reach back with the golf club with out rotating your shoulders until the shaft is parallel to the ground.

Over the past 5 years the trend of putting instruction has been to swing the putter on an arc that swings from inside the ball on the backstroke to inside the ball on the thru swing.

A ball is out of bounds when all of it lies beyond the inside line of objects such as white stakes, or a fence or wall that marks the playing area.

Keep all hands and feet inside the cart while the cart is moving. This is the "No. 1" cause of injuries in the game of golf. Park behind and /or in the rear of the player's field of vision while they are making a shot.

On the downswing the path should be inside a line running through the ball to the intended target line. After striking the ball, follow through with the club head remaining inside the target line.

This drops the club inside and down the target line instead of the "inside-out" approach that teachers told slicers to use to quit coming over the top and that we, as athletes, listened to which made us deep "pushers" and "snap hookers".

The feet should be shoulder width (outside of the shoulders to the inside of the heels) for the middle irons. A short iron stance will be two inches narrower and the stance for long irons and woods should be two inches wider.

Inside - When your ball is nearer to the hole than the ball of your opponent.
Interlocking Grip - A type of grip where the little finger of the left hand is intertwined with the index finger of the right hand for a right handed player.

Steve Loesher: When chipping, set up with the ball inside your back foot, open your stance little bit, grip down on the club (hands all the way to the bottom of the grip).

Rolling the club to the inside
One of the most common reasons for a loss of distance and inconsistent ball striking is rolling the clubface open on the back swing.

It is far easier to control the amount of play you will allow the arms in the downward stroke, if you are coming down inside the ball, than if you are going beyond it, because the centrifugal force is helping it go out, ...

Now as we begin to start your swing, the feeling we want you to achieve is by rolling the inside of your left foot over to the inside of your right foot, which is braced.

Really be there, inside the socks and shoes of that person i.e. you, who has already done it! Look around and really enjoy it. See what you would see. Hear what you would hear - perhaps friends talking about how amazing your game is now.

By the end of the 1870s, machined iron molds that had regular patterns inscribed on their inside were developed. One of the most popular of these was the brambleberry design with raised dimples.

The pressure felt on the inside of the left foot (under the big toe joint) is providing a base (a "resistance") for the downward left arm leverage that is about to occur.

Next time you play, watch your partners and the chances are, if they waggle towards the inside line, that's how they will swing, and vice versa.

If my hands are outside of my shoulder line, they will naturally want to seek (return) back underneath my shoulder line. If my hands swing to the inside and so does the head of my putter.

(7) You can still practice some chipping and putting inside the comfort of your own home. (If you have an indoor golf facility nearby, that's another way to continue working on the fundamentals of your game, over the winter months.) ...

Remain inside your self, to maintain control. Propagate your weight equally from heel to toe and remain proportionate. Preserve fine posture, a straight spine and erect chin. This won't alone assist in your drives but as well to ward off injuries.

Instead of your normal set up position, rest the driver on the ground inside the target line and behind your rear foot. From this position, try to hit the ball by sweeping up and rotate your forearms thorough impact.

A simple phrase describes it best - work from the inside out. Begin the season concentrating on putting close to the hole. From there, work out to chipping, pitching, iron play and finally working on your woods.

fade Opposite of a "draw". A strategic shot that curves from the inside outwards (left to right for right-handed players).
fairway The short-grassed area of the course between the tee box and the green.

Hook - To induce topspin onto the ball causing it to move from inside to outside on your swing. Opposite a slice.
Knockdown Shot A shot played low into the wind.

It is cast in varying weights 2 to 24 grams and welded into the inside of a clubhead to lower and strategically position the center of gravity. This optimizes trajectory and enhances distance control.

Open Stance: When a player sets up with their front foot to the inside of the target line.

When a tournament's field is reduced after each qualifying round. Striking the ball causing it to move from inside to out of your stance.

When out of bounds is defined by reference to stakes or a fence or as being beyond stakes or a fence, the out of bounds line is determined by the nearest inside points of the stakes or fence posts at ground level excluding angled supports.

For Wood shots draw a line from the ball between your feet where the line is about 1 inch from your Left heel { or try to imagine 1 Golf Ball inside your Left heel}
