Plumb Bob : A method of reading putts where the putter is hung from the fingers (like a surveyor's plumb line) in front of one's visual field to create a vertical reference.
Plumb Bobbing!
The rule of thumb when judging a break, and the size of the break, is to use plumb bobbing. Not to be confused with apple boobing.
How about plumb bobbing?
You know, when you see players hold their putter hanging down in front of their faces, looking all serious and scientific? Plumb bobbing would work in theory, in controlled conditions, with only one plane or slope.
