pro-am-- A golf competition that pairs professional and amateur golfers.
pro shop-- Store at a golf club that sells golf equipment, clothing, and accessories and typically also handles tee times and other golf course business.

Pro Shop: The golf course shop operated by the head professional where equipment is sold.

Pro: A golf terms for...professional golfer or person who plays or teaches golf for financial reward.
Putt: A shot played usually with a putter on the green.

Occasionally I insert something that is not a pure golf tip, but something about my philosophies or myself so that you get to know me a bit better.

On the Pro Tour, where we encounter a new course every week, we have to learn as much about the course as we can before the bell rings on Thursday morning. Often, the most demanding assignment is to get a feel for the speed and break of the greens.

A good pro will take a lot of measurements, watch your swing, measure your swing speed, watch your ball flight and be able to tell you with certainty which flex is right for you.
