Ready Golf

Ready golf---an action to speed up play where the players in the group hit their ball whenever they are ready.

ready golf Method of playing golf whereby players attempt to keep up with the group in front of them. For example, deciding which club to use while walking to your ball is playing ready golf.

"Ready golf" is very popular among some experienced groups. Ready golf means whoever is ready to play plays, disregarding honor and away as long as safety and courtesy are observed.

Before a round, it's wise to establish with your playing partners whether or not they want to play "ready golf".
Ready golf is just a term that means, "if you're ready, then play your shot".

A couple years ago I started playing "Ready Golf" With my freinds and even with strangers if they are agreeable, the rule is quite simple...If you are ready and the guy with the honors is not,go ahead and hit.
