If you have a faster swing speed and a regular shaft preferably opt for less loft of around 12 degrees for more distance. Very fast swing speed ladies with stiff shafts could consider a loft of less than 12 degrees.

For instance a strong player using clubs with regular shafts may well find they flex too much causing the toe to fall and twist resulting in a pull or hook.

An average player has a swing speed of 75-90 mph, and should look for a regular shaft. Players with powerful swings - in the 90 -110 mph range - should purchase a stiff or firm shaft. This will provide a stiffer club for more control.

5 and 12 degrees of loft (we tested the 10.5) right-hand with a regular shaft but only 10.5 degrees, which we suspect will be by far the most popular option, in left-hand versions. The head on the comparable ladies club is 380cc.
