Card - Short for scorecard. In tournaments, players play in groups called "cards." Your card will all write their scores on a single scorecard to be turned in to the tournament director at the completion of the round.

What we do on the green can make a big difference on what numbers we have written down beside our names on our scorecard.
Best Ball: A competition where two or more players form a team. The best net score per team on each hole is recorded on the scorecard.
All Square: In match play, a match is all square (tied) when both players or teams have won the same number of holes. It is abbreviated "AS" on the scorecard.
Penalty given for losing or hitting a ball out of bounds. A player must hit a ball again from the previous spot and add a penalty shot to the scorecard.

if the rain turns into a storm and there is lightening in the area, return to the clubhouse immediately. Don't mess with "Mother Nature" you'll lose. If you are far from the clubhouse find a shelter, they are usually marked on your scorecard.
It is not as simple as just buying new clubs or taking the odd lesson. It takes hard work, determination and a plan. This may not sound like a lot of fun but it sure is fun adding up a 75 on your scorecard.
Just accept the fact that wind is blowing, and although it may be in an undesirable direction, the key is to avoid going to war with it. This will foul up your rhythm and tempo, not to mention your scorecard.
