To overcome this a senior golfer has to stretch regularly, or they should expect and will see a constant decline in their range of motion and therefore a decrease in overall distance with all clubs.

I'm frequently approached at my power clinics and exhibitions by senior golfers who claim they've lost strength and suppleness, which translates into shorter tee shots.

Here's an article I originally wrote for a local newspaper. It addresses Seniors' concerns about losing distance.

Golfers who do not have an abundant amount of clubhead speed - such as many women golfers and some senior golfers - can increase their clubhead speed with a proven exercise that helps develop their golfing muscles.

Today, a senior Grand Slam would arguably be a greater accomplishment than even the mainstream men's or women's Grand Slam, since senior golf has five majors instead of the four on the other tours.
