Shot Pattern: Distance and direction of several shots using the same club to evaluate performance of equipment or golfer.
Ballooned: A shot pattern wherein a golf ball accelerates upwards to an unreasonably high trajectory. Banana Ball: A sliced shot that has a flight pattern shaped liked a banana.
The consistency in your shot pattern will increase dramatically as you groove a swing path that flows inside-to-square. Mastering the inside-square-inside swing path will help keep your right elbow in close to your body.
