Skin

Golf SixesSkins

A player wins a skin if he or she wins the hole outright. In the case of a tie for low ball, the skin is carried over to the next hole. Players are handicapped off the golfer with the lowest handicap.

There's More Than One Way To Skin A Cat

Tiger's swing is certainly one of the best in the history of the game.

There's more than one way to skin a golf hole, including adjusting your trajectory off the tee to match the playing conditions. Hitting a low shot can pay dividends in two ways, mainly by cheating a headwind and producing more roll.

Remember that the glove must be like a second skin to you. Make sure you have the right size by checking with your professional or retailer.

The player who wins the hole is said to win the "skin," and whatever that skin is worth.
Slice - A shot with a considerable clockwise spin that curves violently to the right.

There's virtually no heather on the course for example, quite deliberately, and anyone who has ripped their clothes or skin to shreds trying to find a ball in or, suicidally, play out of the stuff will be forever grateful.

But, you will have nice looking clothes (for Spike Jones), a very costly set of chimney cleaners, skin cancer, a red balance in you check book, and cirrhosis trying to keep up with the local golf pro sitting next to you at the 19th hole.

Over the years practical items have been added to the golfer's outfit, such as spiked shoes and lightweight fabrics that keep golfers protected from rainy weather and transport perspiration away from the skin.
