Make a Tee Time, then Make the Tee Time
For most rounds of golf you play, you'll want to reserve a tee time.

Tee off on the side of the trouble It may seem counter-intuitive but it is easier to aim away from the trouble if you are on that particular side.

Put a tee into the sand with a ball on top of it. The top of the tee should be just lower than the top of the sand. During the swing you are going to try and clip off the top of the tee. To do this you have to hit behind the ball at a shallow angle.

"Shortcut to Tee Shot Alignment"
Many students ask, "How can I get more accurate with my tee shots?" The following shortcut can develop confidence off the tee and at the same time place many more shots in the proper place to play your best golf.

More Distance Off the Tee

Explanation: A ball is not considered in play until a stroke has been made, so when it's sitting on the tee, it's not yet in play. A waggle of the club, or shaky hands, or any similar move that results in bumping the ball off the tee is not a stroke.
