Topspin

topspin-- Forward spin on a ball in the direction of the flight path.
touch-- Feel and accuracy for hitting golf shots.
touch shot-- A type of golf shot that requires great feel and accuracy.

Topspin: The forward rotation of the ball in motion.
Torque: Measurement of how much a shaft will twist under a given load. Higher torque feels softer but is less accurate. More flexible shafts tend to have higher torque.

Steve Loesher: Sounds like your hands might be rolling or flipping over at impact which will create topspin. Also, the swing plain might be flat which will not allow you to get the ball into the air.
