Baluster

A baluster can loosen at the top or bottom. Balusters often butt directly under the handrail and are toenailed in place, but sometimes the butt joint isn't perfect, causing a gap between the baluster and handrail.

As each baluster was attached at the bottom, I added another piece of filler strip and nailed it.
