Adding a cornice molding to the joint between walls and ceilings is a good way to add a touch of elegance to a room without spending a lot of money or time.

Cornice molding-The individual pieces of wood trim that are applied to the cornice area at the eaves.
Door casing/trim-The finish trim details around the perimeter of the door on the interior finished wall.

Dentils (or Dentil Molding): Rectangular tooth-like blocks spaced at equal intervals along a cornice molding.
Dhurrie Rug: A flat woven wool or cotton rug featuring beautiful designs.

Molding and trim details (such as a wainscot or cornice molding) can be added later if reducing immediate costs is important. Windows can vary as much as $100 each just because of brand name, though the difference in quality is negligible.

DENTIL or Dentil Motif Decorative moldings or inlay patterns consisting of a series of equally spaced projecting squares or rectangles resembling teeth (hence, the name) usually underneath a cornice molding.
