You can get double-glaze windows, which have two layers of glass separated with a space to help trap air and provide some insulation value or triple-glazed which have three layers of glass or two layers with a low-e layer between the two.

The P trap holds water and I have caulked the joints on the inside of the drain above the P trap. I suspect the drain pipe after the P trap is cracked. How can I remove the shower unit to fix this leak? Will I be able to re-install it afterwards?

For people who develop a problem with fruit flies in the kitchen, fly paper can help trap flies for removal.

However, keep trap upright as you remove it, and pour water out after part is free. If trap is fixed and does not swivel, remove tailpiece slip nut at drain flange and slip nut at top of trap.

Traps include the classic spring trap (aka snap trap), sticky traps, live capture and variations on the spring trap. Simply putting these traps out is unlikely to lead to satisfactory results.

The traps: A trap, or a P trap as some call it, is the odd looking thing that is underneath of all of your sinks.

To make the last few hookups on the drain, I attach this tailpiece to the bottom of the sink basket, slip on the P trap and connect everything to the drain system.

A high air-flow HVAC filter installed in the air return before the project will help trap large particles in the air. Remove work clothing before entering living areas of home. For scraping or sanding, wear a particulate respirator.

The Toilet has an S or P trap built into the unit so it is connected straight to the sewer pipe. However the vanity and bath both use a 40mm pipes set up and thus must use connector to change from 40mm to 100 mm.
