Reflectance
We cannot see light. Instead, what we see is the reflected brightness (luminance), of materials.

Reflectance - Reflectance refers to the fraction of incoming radiant energy that is reflected from the surface.

Reflectance
The ratio of light reflected from a surface to that incident upon it.

Light reflectance: the percentage of light that is not absorbed by the surface of the material.
Live Loads: temporary loads that the roof structure must be designed to support, (e.g., people, installation equipment, rain, snow, ice, etc.) ...

Reflectance
The ratio of reflected radiant energy to incident radiant energy.
Reflected Radiation ...

Reflectance levels - Refers to the amount of light that is reflected from a colored surface, such as a tile wall or painted surface. Some colors reflect light, others absorb it.

reflectance back.--A measurement in percentage of the visible light reflected back into a room. For ease of seeing to the outside, a lower rating is better ...

Reflectance
The fraction of the incident radiation upon a surface that is reflected from the surface.

Light reflectance value (LRV)
The numerical value associated with the amount of light reflected off a dry film coat; the measurement is obtained by using a gloss meter.
Light sources ...

Solar reflectance
The measured quantity of energy in the solar wavelength range that is reflected by a window, expressed as a percentage.
Solar transmittance ...

ALBEDO
The reflectance of solar radiation for a given surface is referred to as the albedo rate.
ALTERATION
Any building change that does not alter the total volume.

Mirror-like reflectance.
Speculation
Assumption of unusual business risk in hopes of obtaining commensurate gain.

Room surface reflectances can be predicted in a new design or measured in an existing facility. If existing facility:
- Room Surface Reflectance (%) = Reflected Reading ÷ Incident Reading ...

The most energy-efficient roofing products have a high solar reflectance, meaning that they reflect the sun's energy back into the environment, rather than absorbing it.

Reflectivity (or reflectance) - a measure of how much radiant heat is reflected by a material. It's also expressed as a number between 0 and 1 (sometimes, it is given as a percentage between 0 and 100%).

To get the best fiberglass ceiling tiles for a given situation, properties like acoustics, indoor air quality, and light reflectance should be considered.

Law of flat surfaces
Light Reflectance Value
Louis Quinze
Louis period styles ...

The aspect of the appearance of an object dependent upon the spectral composition of the incident light, the spectral reflectance of transmittance of the object, and the spectral response of the observer.
Colored grout ...
