Reflective insulation system |

Reflective Insulation System - Reflective Insulation System is formed by a combination of low emittance surfaces and air spaces that provide reflective cavities, which have low levels of radiant energy transmission.
Reflective insulation systems are fabricated from aluminum foils with a variety of backings, such as kraft paper, plastic film, polyethylene bubbles, or cardboard. The resistance to heat flow depends on the heat flow direction.
Radiant barriers: A reflective insulation system that reflects radiant heat energy instead of trying to absorb it. Examples, Foil batts, aluminum paint.
