Audience risers are different from bleachers in that the seats for bleachers are integrated into the structure itself; audience risers are primarily platforms first, to which a variety of chairs, tables, cameras, spot lights, etc. may be used on.

I also noticed that the riser heights were not uniform. Some risers were 6-3/4", while others were closer to 6-5/8".
It's my understanding that risers for outdoor stairs need to be between 6" and 7-1/4". Ask your local building department.

Open Riser Stair

All step riser heights should be the same
No step should ever exceed 8 ¼ inches high.
Once your calculations show a rise over 8 ¼ inches, add one more riser into your stringer calculation.

Slide each riser onto the pole, alternating each step from side to side to maintain balance and weight distribution. Once all the stairs are on the pole, slide the upper deck platform into place (Images 1 and 2).

The maximum riser height should not exceed 8-1/4 inches, and the minimum tread width should be a 10 inches. The riser height is measured vertically between the leading edges of the adjacent treads.

The fixture risers start at the basement main and rise vertically to the fixtures on the upper floors. In a one-family dwelling, riser branches will usually proceed from the main riser to each fixture grouping.

Watch head room and riser height carefully and consult with your building inspection department for stair codes. The building inspection department will turn down a stairway if it violates code requirements.

If the flexible riser tube is damaged, replace it.
Then, unscrew the two rubber-gasketed bolts flanking the flush valve. These bolts go through the tank and bowl flange, with nuts beneath.

We have to remove from the bottom riser the thickness of the treads we are going to use. If you are going to use1 1/2" treads, you remove 1 1/2". If 5/4" treads remove 5/4". If 3/4" treads remove 3/4.

Measure from the face of a riser to the forward edge of a tread. Add to this measurement, the distance from the surface of one tread to the next. The result is the length of your carpet section.

Older houses were often fitted with air-filled risers connected to the plumbing at various points to absorb the shockwave. These air chambers can become waterlogged over time.

Since all risers must be equal, you have to evenly divide up the total height of the stairs to determine your riser height. Most houses have a floor-to-floor height of about nine feet.

If your heat tape is warm and your still not getting any water, the next likely place that's froze is your water riser. Your water riser is where your water comes out of the ground. Often times the riser comes up through a small culvert.

That's kind of standard, but the risers completely depend on the height from the bottom floor to the top floor. Here is the formula for how to make stairs to make it easy.
A good way to know the exact riser height is by dividing the total rise by 7.

Once the decking was complete, the step-riser support posts were done the same as the main supports, the only difference being that they are 4 x 4s instead of 6 x 6s.

This causes the wooden treads to rub against the risers and stringers, and all of it to grind against the nails and screws that hold it all together.
