_American Shampoo Liquor._
Rum, 3 qts.; spirit of wine, 1 pt.; water, 1 pt.; tincture of cantharides, 1/2 oz., carbonate of ammonia, 1/2 oz., salt of tartar, 1 oz. Rub it on, and afterwards wash with water.

The shampoo method involves applying a water-detergent solution to a freshly-vacuumed rug with an electrical rug shampooer, a manual applicator, a sponge mop or a hand brush.

Between shampoos, fill a spray bottle with half vinegar and half water. Spray your pet (avoiding face and ears) every few days. If your pet balks at this treatment, dip a brush in the vinegar and water solution and brush her with the damp brush.

Use a wheeled multi-shelf cart to keep bath and shower items like shampoo, soap and other must-have toiletries. Roll it up to the tub at bath time and store it out of the way when you're done. Use baskets to group like items together.

Removing the oil from the soiled area with a product like brake clean will help in determining the source of the leak or if its a large area, an engine shampoo would be in order and then check it soon after to verify the source.

Shelves can be used to store shampoo, conditioners, lotions, soaps, perfumes, makeup items, toilet paper, and other essential bath and toiletry items in the bathroom.
