A Belgian Warmblood is a warmblood type of horse registered with the Belgisch Warmbloed Paard vzw (Belgian Warmblood Studbook (BWP)).

The Belgian Warmblood, developed especially for competitive and performance purposes, is a relatively new breed.

The Belgian Warmblood stands around 16.2 hands high. From the Anglo-Arabian, the Belgian Warmblood has a head full of quality. Withers are well placed and the shoulders are of good riding type.

Although Belgium is primarily known for its heavy horse breeds, it also produces the Belgian Warmblood. The Warmblood is bred distinctively as a show horse, excelling in dressage and jumping arenas.
