Breed characteristics
The American Saddlebred with its conformation, personality, and stamina is suited to accomplish any task requested, but is most well-known as the "peacock of the horse show world".

Breed characteristics
The Akhal-Teke's most notable and defining characteristic is the natural metallic bloom of its coat.

The Mangalarga Marchador is of good size with an average height of over 15 hands and weighing 900 to 1100 pounds. Horses smaller than 14.2 hands are not being accepted for registration.

The Marwari horse stands between 14 and 17 hands depending on it's topographical origin. We have noticed that our foals and fillies are reaching higher and broader proportions by virtue of sustained and complete nutrition.

Dartmoor ponies stand an average of twelve hands (48") at the withers. They are dark in color, mostly bay, brown or black with an occasional gray or chestnut. White markings, if any, are very small.

By 1950, the breed characteristics had become fixed the the Russian Trotter gained official recognition. There are, however, still periodic infusions of both pure Orlov and Standardbred blood to maintain the breed's qualities.

All breeds need proper food, housing, exercise and grooming.
Do not expect a horse to always conform to breed descriptions. The behavior and personality of each horse differs regardless of breed characteristics.

To achieve this ALL horses must be examined for breed characteristics and approved prior to breeding. The established characteristics for the breed are: (1) The horse must be of medium height from 14.
