Browband

Horse British WarmbloodBrumby

Browband: The crownpiece actually runs through the browband. The browband runs from just under one ear of the horse, across his forehead, to just under the other ear.

Browband : the part of the bridle which lies across the horse's forehead below the ears.
Brumby : a wild Australian horse.
Canter : a slow running gait.

Colored browbands are not allowed, though Dressage-style browbands with some ornamentation are acceptable. Kimberwick and pelham bits are allowed in addition to traditional snaffle bits and double bridles.

It is similar to the type used by the Tennessee Walking Horse, but the rhinestones and colored browbands are prohibited.
