Chumysh

The Chumysh horse was developed by peasants near the Chmysh river in the Altai region of Russia. The goal was to improve the small local animals by adding draft & saddle blood.

The Chumysh horse breed is rather obscure, as not much is known about it. It is considered a light horse breed but stands thirteen hands or smaller. I don't know and cannot find anything else about this breed...

Chumysh - bay, black, and grey predominant
Cirit - bay or grey are favored
