Karakacan

The Karakacan breed comes from Turkey and is the result of crosses between the Trakya horse and animals brought to Turkey from neighboring countries during the times when the Ottoman Empire ruled them all.

The Karakacan horse is used for carriage and light draft work. They are almost always bay in color. Little is known about this breed.
