- Murakosi -
The Murakosi originated around the area of the river Mura in Southern Hungary and continues to be bred there today, as well as in Poland and the countries that formerly belonged to Yugoslavia.

Also called the Mur Island Medjimurski, Murakoz & the Murakosi, the Mura was once quite a popular working horse in Hungary, however today their numbers are very low.

It is also known by the name of Murakosi. The Murakoz horse is well-known for its ability to survive on pretty low amounts of food.
