Northeastern
The Northeastern is a light horse breed developed in northeastern Brazil beginning in the 16th century from Portuguese stock. The coloration of the horse is 40% dark bay, 25% gray, 15% isabella or light bay and 15% sorrel.

The total area of the United Kingdom is approximately comprising of the island of Great Britain, the northeastern one-sixth of the island of Ireland (Northern Ireland) and smaller islands.

During the Middle Ages the monasteries of Northeastern England were the main breeders since pack horses were needed for the trading of goods between the various abbeys and monasteries.

Techincally, the Pechora is a pony, but I don't totally know if it's supposed to go over there or not. The breed developed in Northeastern Russia, near the Pechora River, hence its name.

Writers berated the disappearance of the "ancient" type Morgan and called for its regeneration, if it could be found. Pockets of these Morgans had survived, particularly in northeastern Vermont, though much reduced in number.
