The Sudan Country-Bred is a light righting horse which originated in the African country of Sudan. It was developed during the 20th century from crosses of Arabian and Thoroughbred horses with the Dongola breed.

The Sudan Country-Bred is a relatively new breed developed in the 20th century that comes from Sudan in northeastern Africa. They are a mixture of Arabian, Thoroughbred & Dongala horses.

SUDAN COUNTRY-BRED HORSE
A light riding horse, the Sudan Country-Bred originated in Sudan. It was developed from crossing Arab and Thoroughbred horses with Dongola breeds. They are often found in brown, roan, bay, chestnut or black.

The Tawleed was developed in the Khartoum region of Sudan as a riding horse. It was formed by upgrading Sudan Country-Bred horses with exotic breed, primarily Thoroughbred.
