Horse Tack & Riding Equipment Maintenance
Tack needs to be maintained religiously. Synthetic tack can be hosed down or washed in the washing machine. It's lighter in weight, easy to care for, and less expensive than leather.
Tack should be stored at room temperature. If it is too damp the tack will go mouldy & the stitching will rot. If it is too hot the tack will dry out & start to crack.
TACK OF THE PERUVIAN HORSE
The traditional tack of the Peruvian Horse has remained true to his heritage, but they may be ridden in any type of tack that fits properly.
Tack : saddlery.
Teeth : when fully mouthed the male horse has 40 teeth and the female horse has 36 teeth.

Tack makers usually prefer leather made through vegetable tanning as opposed to chrome tanning.
