Uses of toric horse:
Toric horse had demand because of its many useful traits. Especially its behavior and receptiveness made it a favorite among the farmers of Estonia.

 


- Toric -
The Toric, or Tori, originated in Estonia during the 19th century and is a relatively young breed. The breed developed by crossing the Klepper with Arabian, Hackney, East Friesian, Ardennes, Hanover, Thoroughbred, Orlov, and Trakehner blood.

Basic Info
The modern Tori is clearly a harness type and has a very clean and solid build. Its conformational features include a large or medium-sized head, clean-cut and sometimes with a shortened poll.

Historic information
The Yakut was developed in Yakutia by unconscious and natural selection in the harsh conditions of northern and central Siberia, Russia. The Middle Kolyma is the most valuable horse. It has greater homogeneity and size.

The breed possesses many characteristics that are typical of prehistoric Spanish equines, with a narrow, convex head, and long slender ears. The neck is elegant, muscular, and can be held nicely arched when they wish to.

Thought to have originated in prehistoric times, the domesticated pony was used for work in mines and for hauling timber.
