Ballerina Setting
A setting that lifts the stone up from the shank. It is so named because the under gallery resembles a ballerina's tutu.
Ball earrings on wire or posts are the simplest and coolest way to boost the tough guy image.
(Solid no-hole balls are generally brass, while hollow no-hole balls are available in both base and precious metals.) After swaging, the ball is separated and rolled into shape. Mostly used as ball earrings with posts.
