Cullinan I Diamond 530.20 carats. Cut from the largest diamond ever found (3106 carats) also called the "Star of Africa". Named after the chairman of the Premier mine in South Africa at the time, Sir Thomas Cullinan.
[1] In 1910, it refashioned the royal sceptre to fit the Cullinan I diamond. In 1937, Garrard created the Coronation Crown for Queen Elizabeth, featuring the Koh-I-Noor diamond, a diamond that had been previously set in Queen Mary's crown.
