Drusy, druse, druzy, drusies - different spellings, but they all mean tiny quartz crystals that form within or on the surface of other stones.

Drusy
Drusy sometimes referred to as "Druse or Druzy" is a layer of tiny Quartz crystals that form on a host stone. The cavity inside a geode is sometimes filled with Drusy Quartz crystals.

Drusy: A gemstone with natural surface textured similar to fine sugar crystals. Drusy is created by the phenomena of micro-crystalline facets forming on a gem and the surrounding rock, they were formed naturally millions of years ago.

Druse or Drusy Crust of tiny crystals lining a rock cavity. These are minerals with their crystal structure exposed, like the inside of a geode on a smaller scale. Often, drusy stones exhibit more richness of color than their composite mineral.

The specimens on display at the Trailside Museum illustrate two basic types: calcite with drusy quartz overgrowth, and plain calcite crystals. Both show calcite crystals up to two inches across as thin tabular six-sided crystals.

Druzy Quartz (also spelt as Drusy or Druse) is a thin layer of quartz crystals covering the surface of a host stone. One good example of Druzy is the crystals filled inside the cavity of a geode.

Known as drusy, these tiny crystals are used by Lapidaries where just the drusy is cut from an agate. The jewelers then use these drusy cabochons as the accent or main stone in their design.

Druzy, often called druse or drusy, is formed when silica water enters a porous rocks small cavities and cools rapidly forming miniscule crystals.

What an intersting read.

A delightfully sparkly piece with a larger version of drusy quartz coating the surface; individual crystals measuring about 3 to 4 mm. The little quartz crystals overlay a thin layer of dioptase, which can be seen from the back.

The crust may be found on the surface of minerals or rocks, or as a lining on the interior cavity of a geode. The adjective used to describe this formation is druzy or drusy (druzy quartz, for example).
