Tanzanite is probably the most transparent, or "eye-clean" (free from visible inclusions) of all fine gems.

Aquamarine is readily available in eye-clean stones. Because the color is light, any inclusions in the stone would be easier to see. Its hardness is about 8: it is a fairly tough gemstone. You can assume that an aquamarine has been gently heated.

The GIA (Gemological Institute of America) classifies Zultanite as a Type II transparent gemstone, meaning that it is usually eye-clean (no visible inclusions when the gem is examined approximately 6 inches from the naked eye) with some inclusions ...

Thus eye-clean stones are both desirable and possible. The exception is with the mandarin spessartites from Namibia, which often contain small colorless fibers of tirodite that give the stones a sleepy overall appearance.

Very Slightly Included, or eye-clean, meaning that the stone has some very minor inclusions that are not readily visible without magnification.

5- to 2-carat, eye-clean stones. In addition to the Oregon deposits of faceting-grade labradorite, gem-quality material has been recovered and cut from deposits in California and Nevada.

Clarity grading in colored gemstones is based on the eye-clean standard, that is, a gem is considered flawless if no inclusions are visible with the unaided eye (assuming 20x20 vision).

Terms such as "pure", "eye-clean" and "commercially clean" and other misleading descriptions are not to be used.
The sub-division of the clarity grade VVS, VS and SI into two sub-groups each is only allowable for size of 0.47 ct. and above.

More affordable (and still a great choice) are those diamonds which gemologists call "eye-clean" - diamonds with no inclusions visible to the naked eye.

Better quality sapphires are usually eye-clean with some inclusions under magnification. Sapphire is more available in sizes under two carats, but gems of 5 to 10 carats are not unusual. Sapphire reaches a far greater size than ruby.

As tanzanite crystals occur with reasonably few inclusions, the standard is eye-clean (no visible inclusions when the gem is examined approximately six inches from the naked eye).

Slightly included, imperfections are easily seen with 10X magnification, but are not noticeable without this aid. Also called "eye-clean".

If you prefer a diamond with no inclusions visible to the naked eye, then VS1 or VS2 would be an ideal clarity match for you. However diamonds with SI1 or SI2 clarity are also a neat choice and are generally referred to as Eye-Clean Diamonds.

the VS2 G will be the finer quality diamond based on a the higher color characteristic coupled with a visually eye-clean diamond. The VVS1-J will be free of almost all inclusions yet have a slight yellow body color.

Emeralds in vivid deep to medium green tone with no secondary hue narrate their own quality. It's very rare to find emeralds free from inclusions. As a result eye-clean emeralds are considered to be supreme.
