Liquid and/or gas or solid flaws in gemstones which align in the form of a human fingerprint.

Eppler (1959) actually reproduced this process in the lab, producing fingerprint inclusions in Verneuil synthetic rubies by inserting fractured stones into hydrothermal autoclaves.
