Burma jade is the real deal " true jadeite. Highly valued for its hardness and ability to be intricately carved, jadeite is the rarer of the two types of jade, and therefore more expensive.

Imperial Jade: The most valuable variety of jadeite; it can appear as an apple-green color to blue-green emerald-like color. It is highly translucent and a solid even toned green with no mottling.

In green jade alone, the connoisseurs differentiate between seven main qualities, from the intense, even green of imperial jade, via apple green and spinach green, all the way to the lighter and to more heavily speckled shades of green.

The most expensive jadeite is called "Imperial jade," which is an intense medium green color, semi-transparent, and even in color. A fine piece will have no internal fractures.

The most valuable form of jade is known as imperial jade and comes from Myanmar, it is an emerald green color. Jades also appear in mottled green and white, and the rarer colors of yellow, pink, purple, and black.

The Imperial jade with its translucent, radiant green color, is the most precious and most valuable in its type. Imperial jade contains extremely powerful remedial abilities for clearing renal disorders due to its apple - or emerald green coloring.

Among all the varieties, the most prized variety is the 'Imperial Jade'. In Chinese version, it is famous as the 'Old Mine Jade'. This variety of Jade is not only rarest, but also the costliest, because of its extraordinary transparency.

Chrysoprase gemstone is of very fine translucent green color and texture. It is sometimes mistaken for green Imperial jadeite. With many similarities with jadeite, chrysoprase is sometimes marketed as "Australian Imperial Jade." ...

It occurs in a wide variety of colors, including green of high intensity (so-called Imperial Jade), white, mottled green and white, violet, brown, orangey-red, yellow and grayish-green. The black to dark-green variety is known as chloromelanite.
