Internally Flawless Diamonds are probably the Best Clarity of Diamond that you'll find in any local Jewelry Store. And even then, only expect to see one, maybe two of them (James Allen has 877 in stock).
Internally Flawless (IF)
No inclusions and only minor blemishes visible at 10x magnification.
Very Very Slightly Included (VVS1) ...
Internally Flawless, IF, I.F. A clarity grade which allows for naturals or other surface features or imperfections.
Internally Flawless
Internally Flawless is a grade of quality for diamonds and describes a stone's degree of clarity. This criterion is very strictly evaluated and classified according to an internationally recognized evaluative system.
Internally flawless: Describes a diamond without any internal flaws, but has minor surface blemishes, such as such as scratches, etc.. Usually such stones can be improved to "flawless" by re-polishing at a small loss of weight.

irradiated diamonds Artificially treated to enhance or change the color of a diamond by way of bombardment.
IF(Internally Flawless) - Diamonds those have no inclusions, but slight blemishes appear externally to a skilled grader using 10x magnification.
Internally Flawless: No inclusions, only blemishes are visible to a skilled grader using 10x magnification.
Internally Flawless. The diamond has no inclusions when examined by an experienced grader using 10X magnification, but will have some minor blemishes.

This built the first bridge between the two different methods of clarity grading. The clarity grading according to Scan.D.N.
IF stands for internally flawless. This means there are no internal flaws or inclusions, although there may be small surface flaws.
FL, IF Flawless/Internally Flawless: Flawless diamonds have no inclusions or blemishes detectable under 10x magnification, and are extremely rare.
Top grades begin at internally flawless to VVS1-VVS2 (very-very slightly imperfect), VS1-VS2 (very slightly imperfect), and SI1-SI2 (slightly imperfect) I1-I2-I3 imperfect.

Internally Flawless, meaning that the stone was examined under a microscope of at least 40x magnification, and no inclusions were seen. The stone has some external blemishes.
Second in line is the IF classification, termed for internally flawless stone, which is also rarely seen, especially in a well-cut, colorless diamond.
They are, in order of decreasing quality: FL (Flawless), IF (Internally Flawless), VVS1 and VVS2 (Very Very Slightly Included), VS1 and VS2 (Very Slightly Included), SI1 and SI2 (Slightly Included), I1 and I2 and I3 (Imperfect).
The GIA scale for diamond clarity designates diamonds as flawless (F), internally flawless (IF), very very slightly included (VVS1 and VVS2), very slightly included (VS1 and VS2), slightly included (SI1 and SI2), or included (I1, I2 and I3).

Internally flawless diamonds are very rare and expensive. An inclusion directly under the diamond's table, or top, will reduce its rating more than one in the girdle, or side.
