Laser Welding: A soldering technique used to join multiple pieces of metal through the use of a laser. The beam provides a concentrated heat source, allowing for narrow, deep welds and high welding rates.
In the case of bracelet assembly, the components are all assembled by hand with the only high technology employed being laser welding for superior strength.
The coming of the laser welding machine is a boon. It is a clean weld as it is suited for the thermal grade of the platinum.
Some chains are hand made. Glass beads, plastic and resin beads are strung by hand. Pearls are also (mostly) hand strung.
