Mineral Classification
Minerals are naturally occurring, inorganic substances with a quantifiable chemical composition and a crystalline structure. The term "mineral" refers to both a material's chemical composition, and its physical structure.
Mineral wool, means fibers made from minerals or metal oxides, be they synthetic or natural. In industry use, MMMF (man-made-mineral-fibres) generally refer to synthetic materials.

A variety of beryl that is pink. Named after J.P. Morgan. Found in California, Brazil, and Madagascar.
A mineral that is reddish-brown to red, sometimes yellowish, and has a brilliant lustre. It is sometimes found as a needle-like inclusion in some gemstones, e.g. Sagenitic quartz and sagenite.
