Most diamonds sold in the retail trade run from near colorless to slightly yellow or brown, in the normal color range.
Most of the diamonds comes in normal color range which is said to be pale yellow or brown color, other than this any coloring if found is said to be fancy color diamonds.
Diamonds outside the normal color range are called fancy colored. Graded as Z+, fancy colored diamonds come in a variety of colors like red (the rarest), pink, violet, blue, green, and bright yellow, known as "canary.
[6] The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) classifies low saturation yellow and brown diamonds as diamonds in the normal color range, and applies a grading scale from 'D' (colorless) to 'Z' (light yellow).
