Co-Trustee: One of two or more people who jointly hold, manage and distribute property for the benefit of another under a trust; joint trustee. Counsel: A lawyer; an attorney; a counselor. To counsel means to advise.
co-trustee n. a trustee of a trust when there is more than one trustee serving at the same time, usually with the same powers and obligations. Occasionally a co-trustee may be a temporary fill-in, as when the original trustee is ill but recovers.
They are not responsible for money received by their co-trustees, if the receipt be given for the mere purposes of form.
