Court of Appeals: An intermediate federal court, inferior to the U.S. Supreme Court but higher than the U.S. District Court. Its function is to review the final decisions of the district courts, if challenged.

Court Of Appeals
In a trial if any party is dissatisfied with the decision given he can approach the court of appeals generally the higher court stating that he was not given justice and can also present more evidence realted to the case.

Court of appeals: Intermediate appellate court to which most appeals are taken from superior court.
Court superior: State trial court of general jurisdiction.

Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC or Fed. Cir.): A U.S. court to which an applicant for patent can appeal a decision of the USPTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.

United States Court of Appeals: Courts which hear appeals from federal district courts, bankruptcy courts, and tax courts.

Court of Appeals - 15 judges, elected statewide, make up this intermediate appellate court.

Court of Appeals In Washington, an intermediate appellate court, to which most appeals from superior court are taken.

appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

Affirm: To confirm or ratify; a Court Of Appeals affirms or disaffirms a decision of a lower court.

In Utah, they include the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, district courts and juvenile courts. Courts not of record are those of lesser authority whose proceedings are not permanently recorded, i.e., the Justice Courts.
