DEPENDENT CLAIMS - (patent) A dependent claim incorporates each of the limitations of a previous claim but also contains additional limitations not found in the other claim.
Multiple Dependent Claims: A dependent claim that refers back in the alternative to more than one preceding independent or dependent claim.
Acceptable multiple dependent claims shall refer to preceding claims using the terms "or, any one of, one of, any of, either." A multiple dependent claim may not depend on another multiple dependent claim, either directly or indirectly.
